There is nothing more satisfying to me than building lasting relationships with families while providing their children with the best medical care. Whether your child is in need of well child check ups, sick child care, anticipatory guidance, behavior and mental guidance, or all the above, it will be our privilege to serve you!
Dr. Byars is a board certified pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She attended medical school at UAB and completed her residency in pediatrics at Vanderbilt.
I am so excited to be a part of the Liberty Mountain Pediatrics team. I know in many ways your pediatrician becomes like part of your family, therefore, I am honored for the chance to become a part of yours. I love getting to know my patients and watching them grow.
My background is in neonatal intensive care, early childhood development, and pediatric primary and urgent care. After training under Dr. Byars, I now have the great privilege of serving you alongside her.

No Show Policy
Second and third no show – $20 fee
Fourth no show in 2 year period – Dismissal from Practice

We follow the AAP recommendations and CDC schedule for vaccinations for our patients. We do not accept patients that do not vaccinate and do not do delayed schedules.
We do not participate in the Vaccines for Children program, therefore we are unable to provide vaccines for Medicaid patients. These vaccines will be given at the local Health Department.
The Poison Control Hotline number is 1 (800) 222-1222. Contact Poison Control right away if you suspect a poisoning. Hotline help is free, expert, and confidential.
